Just do a Google search for real estate licensing dallas, tx and you should find some schools (I found several). It looks to be a little more expensive than here in NC (at least at the start). Based on what I saw, it looks as though it will cost you about $ 600 to $ 1000 for the classes. Not certian what the MLS will cost you there but here it is about $ 1000 to get setup and get your Suprakey. From there, you probably need enough money to get by on for at least a year as the first year or two is usually very slow as you try to get established. Someone is always sticking their hand out for more money.

I paid about $ 800 to take 7 classes, it is a little less or more depending on your choice of school. I only needed to take 5 classes, since my school credit from college applied a little bit. I took 2 extra for my first year Mandatory Continuing education. I went to Champions School of Real Estate (http://championsschool.com/), and thought it was great! It also costs about $ 200 to take the state/national test, and depending on the MLS/TAR/NAR & local Association of Realtor dues and the Broker you could spend between $ 500-$ 1000 more to start out.
